About Us

I’m Giles, and I’m a photographer. Sure, you already knew that, but there’s more to me than just capturing moments through a lens..

I’m also a board game aficionado, a Doctor Who fan, and an all-round geek. Embracing the spirit of fun in all its forms is what fuels my passion for photography..

For eight years, I led the photography team at Showmasters Events,where I had the privilege of capturing thousands of portraits and collaborating with some of the biggest names in film and TV at comic cons across the globed. Conventions can be exhausting, no doubt, but they’re exhilarating too – and I try to bring that excitement, passion and, yes, fun to every photo I take.

A portrait is more than a recording of what someone looks like. A portrait (a good one, at least) is a reflection of who someone is. A glimpse of who they truly are, or who they could be. The word ‘story’ is overused by people in all professions but my favourite portraits are those that do exactly that: tell an honest story, in a single shot.
